Yes, our ShieldPlus and ShieldComplete plans cover the parts and components of clothes washers.

We cover all components and parts of clothes washers. The ShieldPlus plan covers up to $4,000 for each covered appliance. The ShieldComplete plan covers up to $7,000 for each covered appliance. And if we can’t repair the covered item, we’ll replace it subject to the limitations and exclusions in your plan agreement. If we can’t repair your covered washer, we’ll replace it subject to the limitations and exclusions of your plan agreement and remove the defective item. 

We will match the replacement as similarly as possible to the malfunctioned washer in terms of features, capacity, and efficiency. However, we cannot guarantee that we can match the exact dimensions, brand, or color. You can also opt for a pay out in the amount of a similar model so you can upgrade your appliance and use our Appliance Discount Program.
