We cover all components and parts of covered ranges/cooktops, including gas burners, cooktop elements, ignition system, and temperature sensor. The ShieldGold plan covers up to $2,000 for each covered appliance. The ShieldPlatinum plan covers up to $4,000 for each covered appliance. And if we can’t repair the covered item, we’ll replace it subject to the limitations and exclusions of your plan agreement. The standard initial home warranty plan agreement is 13-months, and begins the day after you sign-up. After the initial agreement, your plan will renew for 12-month terms. You can place your first service request 30 days after you sign up for your plan.
If we can’t repair your covered range or cooktop, we’ll replace it subject to the limitations and exclusions in your plan agreement and remove the defective item.
