You may not notice them, but ducts do a big job distributing the heating and cooling systems in your house, so you stay comfy inside no matter the temps outside. All 3 American Home Shield® real estate home warranty plans include ductwork coverage for this all-important but often overlooked home system.
The covered item limit is $15,000. AHS will only provide coverage for access to a Covered Item through one layer of unobstructed drywall, and return such access opening to a Rough Finish. If the Covered Item can only be accessed through a concrete (including cinderblock) wall, floor, or ceiling, we will provide coverage for access to the Covered Item and return such access opening to a Rough Finish, subject to any Special Limits noted in this Plan Agreement. We will not cover the costs associated with accessing items that are not reasonably accessible or are inaccessible, such as those that cannot be accessed safely, due to an obstruction, or require non-standard specialized equipment to access the Covered Item. We will not provide service to any Covered Item where hazardous materials, such as animal waste, are present until such hazardous materials are removed or otherwise remediated.
