All parts and components of installed instant hot/cold water dispensers
Not Covered:
Hot/cold water dispensers that are freestanding and portable, or otherwise not connected to the covered home’s plumbing system

Yes, our ShieldPlus and ShieldComplete plans cover the parts and components of installed instant hot/cold water dispensers.

We cover all parts and components of installed instant hot/cold water dispensers. And if we can’t repair the covered item, we’ll replace it subject to the limitations and exclusions in your plan agreement. See the page above or the plan agreement for more detailed coverage information.

No, we do not cover any freestanding and countertop instant hot/cold water dispensers. We only cover all components and parts of installed instant hot/cold water dispensers that are connected to water lines. 

If we can’t repair your covered installed instant hot/cold water dispenser, we’ll replace it subject to the limitations and exclusions in your plan agreement and remove the defective item.

You can place your first service request 30 days after you sign up for your plan. Service requests can easily be placed 24/7 online via MyAccount, in the AHS app, or by calling 1-855-832-4631 during standard business hours to request service.
