Built-in Exhaust Fan FAQs

All 3 of our home warranty plans cover parts and components of built-in exhaust, bathroom, attic, & whole house fans during your 1-year agreement term. Please see the plan agreement for more detailed coverage information, limitations and exclusions.

The standard initial home warranty plan agreement is 13 months, and begins the day after you sign-up. When that concludes, your plan is eligible for renewal in 12-month terms.  It is important to note that your coverage commences 30 days after the plan agreement begins. So you can submit your first service request 30 days after the plan agreement begins.

If we can’t repair your built-in exhaust, bathroom, attic, and while house fans, we’ll replace and remove your old fans, subject to the limitations and exclusions in your plan agreement. See the plan agreement for coverage details, including service fees, limitations and exclusions. Coverage limits and charges for non-covered items may apply.

You can place your first service request 30 days after you sign up for your plan. Service requests can easily be placed 24/7 online via MyAccount and the AHS® app or by calling 1-888-691-2854.
