All 3 of our home warranty plans include coverage for all components and parts of garage door openers. This coverage does not include garage doors and garage door track assemblies. The standard initial home warranty plan agreement is 13-months, and begins the day after you sign-up. After the initial agreement, your plan will renew for 12-month terms. You can place your first service request 30 days after you sign up for your plan.
If we can’t repair your garage door opener, we’ll replace it subject to the limitations and exclusions in your plan agreement and remove the defective item.

Our home warranty plans cover all parts and components of the electrically powered garage door opener, extension, and torsion springs. Any other part of the garage door system, including the actual garage door, track assemblies, rollers, and guides are not covered.
Your home warranty covers garage door opener issues related to normal wear and tear and everyday use. The issue will not be covered if it’s caused by damage from vandalism, pests, overloading capacity, or misuse of the opener.
Service requests can be placed online via MyAccount. Once you place your service request and pay your service fee, we’ll assign a Pro to your request. Your Pro will reach out to you within 24-48 hours to schedule your appointment. The Pro will diagnose the issue and make the covered repair per the coverage and limitations in your plan agreement.
