Yes, all 3 of our home warranty plan options cover the parts and components of ceiling fans during your 1-year agreement term. Please see the plan agreement for more detailed coverage information, limitations and exclusions.

The standard initial home warranty plan agreement is 13-months, and begins the day after you sign-up.  After the initial agreement, your plan will renew for 12-month terms.  You can place your first service request 30 days after you sign up for your plan.

If we can’t repair your ceiling fan, we’ll replace it subject to the limitations and exclusions of your plan agreement and remove the defective item.

You can place your first service request 30 days after you sign up for your plan. Service requests can easily be placed 24/7 online via MyAccount or by calling 1-888-691-2854 during standard business hours to request service.

No two homes are the same, and that’s why we have options – so you can find the plan that fits your needs. 

If your ceiling fan is making unusual noises, contact your home warranty provider to place a service request. A Pro will be assigned to your service request to diagnose it and determine if repairs or replacement are needed.

Some home warranty plans may have limits on the number of service requests or repairs during your plan agreement, but American Home Shield does not. We will repair your covered items up to the coverage limits in your plan agreement.

Regular maintenance like cleaning the fan and ensuring it is properly balanced can help. Always follow the manufacturer’s maintenance recommendations.
