The ShieldSilver home warranty plan covers 14 of your home’s major systems including your heating and AC, electrical and plumbing systems. It does not cover your kitchen and laundry appliances or roof leak repair coverage.
With the ShieldSilver home warranty plan, there is a $50,000 limit per agreement term and we never limit the number of service requests you can make. Heating and AC systems will also have a maximum covered item limit of $5,000 per system per agreement term.

In the event that your item is not covered, we'll keep you updated so you have the ability to decide whether you want us to complete the repair out-of-pocket or not. One benefit is that you won’t have to find the right Pro for the job because we’ll handle that for you. An AHS customer service representative can help answer any questions you might have related to your coverage.

You can place your first service request 30 days after you sign-up. When you buy online, the date your plan starts shows on the confirmation page and in your email confirmation.
We won’t charge you until your coverage starts, but you can still set up your online profile on MyAccount so you’ll be ready to place service requests, access your plan agreement and get member discounts on home maintenance services.
